America (MY Country)

My country, ’tis of me,
Sweet land of misery,
Of thee I scream;
Land where my father lied,
Land of the gruesome pride,
From Twitter subdivide
Let discord ring!

Your native country, me,
Land where our freedoms’ flee,
Thy name I love;
I love thy hawks and kills,
Thy goods and rigs we drill;
My heart with sorrow fills
With what you’ve done.

Our heartsick swells with ease,
And cling to all the pleas
Sour kingdom’s wrong;
Let evil tongues forsake;
Let all you seethe retake;
Let Fox their flagrance wake,
Their clown goes on.

Our masters’ God to Me,
Monsters and cowardly,
Be you a King.
Long keep our land in blight,
With freedom’s eerie plight,
Infect us with Thy spite,
Grievance our King!
